Yellow Peril

Washed up on the beach near the Grand Pier...

Not what we need to be floating round our seas I feel.

This month the City Daily Photo theme day is based on the colour yellow. Please go and have a look at some of the other contributions, there are a few you might expect but many that will surprise you. Watch out for the conception photo - my favourite today I think!

Strewth - heard an item on radio about space junk the other day - and sea junk is a major worry.

Chlorine gas would definitely qualify as yellow peril. Sad it washed up on the beach.

Omigod! Was it empty?

I'm afraid we don't really have an inkling of all the crap being tossed into our oceans...

Unfortunately, at some point we will find out and I don't think we'll like it!

My goodness, I wouldn't want to see this either on a beach. What a great choice for today tho and a lovely shot.

This is one of the "yellowest" (I don't know is this word really exists) I saw today. Good shot.

Oh, wow! Wonder how things like these get loose and float around at random.

Nice capture for the theme day, anyway!

Good discovery for theme day but not for the environment!

Happy theme day :)

great title and shocking that this is floating around in the ocean. how does someone lose this canister filled with chorine gas? I am glad you enjoyed the Chihuly yellow Saffron Tower on my site for theme day. I have a day time photo of the Saffron Tower up today. Thanks for your comments.
